Holy One,
Giver of Life,
Creator of the Universe,
are you with us
as you
were with
our ancestors?

Do you speak
to us, guiding us
today?

Having created us
have you now
abandoned us?

The problems
we face
are so difficult.
They seem
insurmountable.

Speak to us
as you spoke
to Jesus,
Mohammad
and Buddha.

They heard
you and became
your voice
in a troubled
world.

Unstop our ears,
still our mouths
that we may
hear your
message
of peace,
justice and love.
